(1) The foundation of the jack. The foundation of the jack should be stable, solid, and reliable. When setting up a jack on the bottom, it should be padded with wood or other appropriate materials to expand the stress area.
(2) The placement of the jack. When placing a jack on a soft ground, a wooden block should be placed under the jack to prevent it from tilting and tilting under force. When a heavy object rises, support blocks should also be placed under the object at any time, but hands should not accidentally enter the danger zone.
During the placement of the jack, the line of action of the load center of gravity should be kept consistent with the axis of the jack. During the lifting process, it is necessary to strictly prevent the risk of the jack tilting or tilting due to the settlement of the jack foundation or horizontal displacement of the load. To prevent the jack from sliding in contact with the metal surface or concrete smooth surface of heavy objects, a hard wooden block should be placed if necessary.
(3) Jacking operation. The lifting height of the jack should not exceed the effective lifting distance. When lifting large objects (such as beams), the two ends should be separated for lifting and landing, one end for lifting and landing, and the other end must be padded, firmly padded, and placed stably. Jacks are not allowed to be used under overload.
The jack should not be started quickly, but should rise at a steady pace and descend slowly. When multiple jacks are used simultaneously, they should be operated synchronously. After the jack operation is completed, it should be carefully checked for oil pressure and hidden dangers, and maintenance should be carried out. It should be placed in an appropriate place.
